How do I get to Whitehorse?

Air Canada and Air North offer daily scheduled flights between Vancouver and Whitehorse. Air North also offers direct flights from Calgary and Edmonton several days per week. Air North services Fairbanks in Alaska and Inuvik in NWT. The Alaska Marine Ferries run a scheduled service from both Bellingham, Washington and Prince Rupert, British Columbia to Juneau, Haines and Skagway in Alaska. There is a train and bus service to Whitehorse from Skagway. Check with your local travel agent for plane and ferry schedules.

How do I book on a trip?

To reserve a place on one of our expeditions, drop us a line, give us a call, or send an email.

A 50% deposit and a registration form will reserve a spot for you. The balance of the payment is due 30 days prior to departure. Upon receipt of your deposit, we will send medical and waiver forms, or you can download them from our website. We require these forms to be sent in as early as possible, to ensure that we can accomodate special food requests or allergies, as well as medical conditions.

The sooner we have confirmation of booking the sooner we can let participants know if the trip is definitely going. Minimum group size is specific to each trip.

Cancellation policy

Naturally we regret news of any cancellation. Nevertheless, a sizable portion of our trip costs are already committed to expenses well in advance of your departure.

In this light, we have developed the following cancellation schedule:

For notice received
1. more than 60 days prior to departure: full refund -less 75.00 administration fee
2. 60-30 days: 25% refund
3. 29 days or less: no refund

We will however do our best to accomodate your special circumstances. In the event of an emergency or a medical condition we will refund you to the extent we can afford to. If we are required to cancel the trip for any reason, of course a full refund will be given.

What about insurance?

We recommend that you purchase baggage and extended medical insurance (including emergency evacuation in case of injury or accident during the trip).

Upon application a registration, medical form and waiver will be forwarded to you. The sooner you can provide us with your medical information, the more prepared we can be for any potential medical conditions. We can also cater to food allergies with sufficient lead time
